Franchise Solutions
At OMC we believe that a digital strategy involves more than just having a website; it’s about using technology to generate serious business efficiency. As a franchise you can easily leverage the power of the internet to increase the value of your marketing and communication dollar.
Some of the franchises that we've worked with include Carpet Court and Secrets Jewellery

This year’s Franchise Marketing Forum delivered ‘5 Franchise Marketing Tips’. OMC can work with your Franchise to deliver a digital solution that integrates all 5, streamlining the way you do business.
1. Franchisee involvement is the key to effective marketing
The real power of a digital strategy is when all these elements work as one. Sending the right message to the right customer at the right time is key. Being able to measure the effectiveness of any campaigns is gold.
A franchise intranet is an effective platform for you to communicate with franchisees and for them to access marketing material, post questions to a forum, order uniforms or any other number of useful tasks.
2. Establish an internal advertising calendar
Giving your franchisees ample notice on planned advertising campaigns is a great way to set them up for success. Posting your internal advertising calendar on the franchise intranet means franchisees are never caught off-guard.
3. Develop a Local Area Marketing Portal
Empower franchisees with the right on-brand information. As a Franchisor you can post a campaign directly to the advertising calendar and send an email to all franchisees. In turn, franchisee can order campaign material directly from the intranet:
- Catalogues or other direct mail
- Press releases and other PR services
- Decals/strut cards/POS materials
- Electronic Direct Mail
These requests can be paid for via the intranet with a request sent directly to the service provider (printer, PR agent, web support, etc.).
4. Get your franchisees to work regionally with their local area marketing
Franchisees needn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to local marketing. An intranet is an ideal place for them to share marketing “hits and misses” with each other.
It is also an opportunity to provide easy to access training material for your franchisees on marketing and advertising.
5. Incentivise
Competitions, deals, leader boards, rankings and bonuses can all be incorporated into the intranet, facilitating some healthy competition and boosting performance.
Here are 3 more ideas we believe you should consider.
- Generate more leads for your franchises
When your customers are searching online they will undoubtedly have a few questions, perhaps need a quote (from the comfort of their office or home) or arrange an appointment to come in and talk to one of your team.
Driving leads to your stores is one of the tangible benefits you can deliver to your franchises around the clock, 365 days per year. - Keep your brand top of mind
The ‘sign up to our newsletter’ is a little parse these days unless you are prepared to giveaway something that delivers value to the customer. Capturing customer information through concepts like the ‘request a quote / ask a question’ ideas above are just some of the ways you can build your customer database. Social Media, online/offline competitions, free downloads like ‘top 10 tips to choosing the right appliance’, whitepapers, case studies and educational videos are other tactics that we can deploy to keep your brand ‘top of mind’ with your customers. - Integrate your marketing efforts
Online is one of the most efficient ways to get your message out there. Reality is that most customers will consume their information in various ways such as in-store promotions, billboards, radio, TV and print.
At OMC we can help your team, or your agency bring the power of online to your business.
